Meet Lauren

From Staunton to Southern Illinois law

Lauren recently graduated from Southern Illinois University School of Law in Carbondale. She brings energy, curiosity, and a real interest in the people behind the files to her work as the firm’s Law Clerk.

Lauren grew up in Staunton, Illinois. Her years at SIU Carbondale gave her another place in this part of the state to call home—and a chance to begin a legal career serving its families.

Lauren knows that a routine day at a law office may be anything but routine for the person walking in.

She asks questions, pays attention to the details, and wants clients to feel heard. People should understand what is happening in their case, especially when it touches their family.

Working alongside Rebecca and the rest of the team, Lauren is putting her legal education to work while learning from Rebecca’s 25 years in practice.

When She’s Not Talking About the Law…

There’s a pretty good chance Lauren is listening to a true crime podcast.

Yes, she chose law as a profession and true crime as entertainment. Apparently, there wasn’t quite enough legal drama in her day already.

And when she isn’t solving a podcast case from the comfort of home, she’s spending time with her cats, who we’re fairly certain believe they’re the senior partners of the firm.
